Refund Policy

At The Laundry Matters, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We take utmost care in handling your garments and delivering high-quality service. However, if you are not satisfied with our service, please review our refund policy below:
 

1. Service Issues

If you believe there has been a genuine issue with the service (e.g. incomplete cleaning, wrong item returned, or missing garment), we request you to inform us within 24 hours of delivery. We will inspect the complaint and offer the following remedies:

  • Free re-cleaning of the item(s), if applicable

  • Partial or full refund, only if the issue is validated and cannot be resolved through re-cleaning
     

2. Damage or Loss

We follow strict quality control, but in the rare case of damage or loss of your garment:

  • Compensation will be limited to a maximum of 5 times the cleaning cost of the item

  • Claims must be raised within 3 days of delivery

  • Proof of value may be requested for processing compensation
     

3. Non-Refundable Services

Please note that the following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Stubborn stains or pre-existing damage that cannot be removed despite best efforts

  • Color fading, shrinkage, or fabric reaction due to manufacturer defect or missing care labels

  • Delays due to force majeure or logistical disruptions
     

4. Refund Method

  • Refunds will be processed through the original payment method within 7–10 working days after approval.

  • In case of cash payments, refunds will be made via UPI or bank transfer.
